XLSim 3 with Interactive Simulation is Now Available at Vector Economics
AnalyCorp has provided easy to use, analytical
add-ins for Microsoft Excel since 1997 for
educational and light commercial use. We continue
this tradition with the ProbiliTech™ family of
software tools designed to support the discipline
of Probability
Management. This new approach to simulation
allows models to be consolidated and rolled up
for effective enterprise-wide risk management.
The first in this series is XLSim® 3, a Monte
Carlo simulation package that is backwards
compatible with our popular
XLSim® 2.
An important
new feature is support for DIST™ 1.0 Distribution
Strings. DISTs may now be output from traditional
simulations, and used as inputs to interactive
simulations. Its low cost and ease of use make
XLSim® 3 the ideal environment for teaching,
prototyping and developing small Probability
Management applications. Furthermore it can
seamlessly exchange DIST™ 1.0 data with more
powerful Probability Management software, such as
Frontline System's Risk Solver.
